What's New in Google Chrome 134 Stable Version

Security Fixes: Google has fixed critical security updates that address 14 vulnerabilities, including high-severity bugs that could lead to data leaks, browser crashes, or arbitrary code execution.

Quick Settings: The interface for customizing the contents of the toolbar and managing the placement of shortcuts has been redesigned. Users can access the interface by going to Menu> More Tools> Customize Chrome.

Reading Mode in Chrome's sidebar: The "Reading Mode" in Chrome's sidebar now supports the "Read Aloud" functionality using a speech synthesizer, allowing users to choose a voice, adjust the speech rate, and highlight the words being spoken. Users can access the interface by going to Menu> More Tools> Reading mode.

Improved the Quality of the Web Form Autofill System: Chrome now uses an on-device machine learning model to detect password input. This change will improve form detection and autofill. Users can control this feature using the "PasswordManagerEnabled" policy.

Password Change Option: With Chrome 134, users can now immediately change compromised credentials when opening websites from the "Check Your Password" dialog, if they have been detected. When Chrome shows a warning for an eligible website, users can change their password by clicking the "Change Automatically" button.

Restrictions on Unpacked Extensions: Starting with Chrome 134, if a user attempts to load an unpacked extension from the chrome://extensions page, it will only be enabled if the "Developer Mode" toggle is turned on.
